We are happy to inform you that the Pune squash league has been launched this month and it will be played for 5 weekends all over Pune. The league consists of 12 Teams with more

2nd Pune Squash League

2nd League will be launched in November with exciting teams and more players. 

The league consists of 12 Teams with 6 players in each team. The team will be decided by Bidding which will take place on 16th November. 

The teams will be published after the bidding and the players will have to contact their respective captains. 

The league will be played over the weekends as mentioned below.

Schedule of matches:

22nd, 23rd, 29th & 30th November.

6th, 7th, 20th, 21st & 27th December.

Notice:

The matches will be played over the weekend for the next 6 weekends as mentioned above.

All club rules apply. .

1st League Report:

The 1st Pune Squash League 2014 came to an end after a month and a half of regular matches. 

In all, close to 200 matches were played. 

For the grand finale of the league, we had close to 50 matches, including the final place showdown between the winners of Pool A and the winners of Pool B.

Mr. Abhinav Sinha, 

Professional Squash Players & Founder Of Rolling Nicks.

¨ Mr Abhinav Sinha is a Professional Squash Player and have been playing Indian squash circuit since 1999.

¨ He is amongst the few player in country who have played the International PSA Squash circuit all over the world.  His best ranking is 285 in the world.

¨ He has a successful junior squash experience, and played the highest level of squash.. That consistency only solid coaching and technical proficiency can provide.

¨ He is the first person from Pune to represent the country in World Junior and Asian Junior Championship."

"Broke the record- Made Pune University proud  by winning All India Inter University Championship (Individual and captained the team to make history by winning the All India Inter-University championship for the first time)."

“It is very important promoting the sport of squash at the grass root level. By taking the sport into schools, clubs, society, etc, it gives tremendous huge exposure to the game. It also allows the RNSA team to scout for fresh talent that one day hopefully will represent In India at the Olympics. When we talk about sports we need to understand that sports means a lot in daily life and with this agenda we are spreading our vision to keep everyone fit. Fitness is something which cannot be achieved but can only be retained by regular activity.”
